It's never easy to do so in such a situation, but she needed to hold that line, it was her responsibility and she failed. Do I think she was paid off? No. Do I think she got in way over her head, got played, and failed to appreciate the gravity of the situation and act accordingly in support of the aims of her society? Hell yes.StartupPRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10863632782404121915noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3057869926275243678.post-9001516789257149842019-02-26T03:32:43.313-08:002019-02-26T03:32:43.313-08:00i love love love this post.. watched the whole vid...i love love love this post.. watched the whole video right now but you have explained exceptionally well the whole s**t that went on AACC..
However, AACC aint that bad at all ;) they are inviting John Carreyou to this year's 2019 aacc summit to speak on theranos investigations https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/wall-street-journal-reporter-john-carreyrou-to-speak-about-his-work-investigating-startups-in-the-medical-testing-space-at-70th-aacc-annual-scientific-meeting-300596572.htmlImran Hayderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02667334842321557327noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3057869926275243678.post-15422355646862646052016-09-17T01:09:18.003-07:002016-09-17T01:09:18.003-07:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06084485082392604364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3057869926275243678.post-75016671811849380572016-09-17T01:05:48.010-07:002016-09-17T01:05:48.010-07:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06084485082392604364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3057869926275243678.post-77577031083810014692016-08-23T20:52:24.384-07:002016-08-23T20:52:24.384-07:00Thanks for your comments. I'd be a much wealthier man if I'd just been able to keep my mouth shut at times...

Overall, I love what Elon Musk does - succeed or fail, he's putting his own money (sometimes all of it) on huge technological bets that are great for society. I'd like to think that if I were as wealthy as him, I'd be putting it into cool things like advancing space travel or something similar. About the only thing I really disagree with him on is the Autopilot/self-driving business - it's just wrong to beta test this on consumers, and he's wrong on the statistics of it being safer right now - eventually it will get there and it will be safer than people driving, but not yet and this shortcut mentality is just wrong.

And finally, Feynman is awesome. On everything. If you haven't already, read his story about being part of the school textbook curriculum commission. http://www.textbookleague.org/103feyn.htm
StartupPRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10863632782404121915noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3057869926275243678.post-4065811212300949912016-08-22T04:15:56.870-07:002016-08-22T04:15:56.870-07:00Enjoy your posts, keep em coming. It's clear your hardware/software is calibrated nearer to reality than most, must be an innate thing for you in a world where natural human tendency is wishful thinking, lucky you! I'm always remined of Feynman's words of wisdom - "For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for nature cannot be fooled." - "No matter how smart you are, no matter how beautiful your theory, if it disagrees with experiment, it is wrong."

Interested to read your thoughts on Elon Musk, he seems to be in a different league.
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09860049176363512873noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3057869926275243678.post-53476305418423631632016-08-03T23:08:13.555-07:002016-08-03T23:08:13.555-07:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Mark Winstanleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06922719538560603309noreply@blogger.com
